Real Times Media extends content Licensing Partnership With ProQuest

(August 21, 2019). Real Times Media announced that it has extended its agreement with ProQuest to grant exclusive worldwide rights for the education and library markets and non-exclusive worldwide rights for all other markets to reproduce, transmit and distribute the newspaper archives of the Chicago Defender, New Pittsburgh Courier and Atlanta Daily World. With the extension, RTM and ProQuest are expanding the partnership to include the media company's Michigan Chronicle archives through 2029. RTM receives royalties from licensed content.

Equinox migrates Carleton University's Audio Visual Collection to Koha

(August 21, 2019). Equinox announced the successful migration of Carleton University's Audio Visual Collection to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide. Their migration involved 14,633 bibliographic records and 134 patrons at the college. Equinox provided implementation and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and auxiliary services.

Lyngsoe Systems announced that Liverpool University Library has become the first UK institution and the first institution outside Scandinavia to opt for Lyngsoe Systems Intelligent Material Management System. The University Library will integrate IMMS with their Sierra Library Management System from Innovative Interfaces Inc.

St. Joseph County Public Library migrates to EnvisionWare for RFID

(August 19, 2019). EnvisionWare announced that St. Joseph County Public Library has migrated to EnvisionWare's RFID Software Suite. SJCPL migrated to EnvisionWare's RFID software in all 10 locations. The Library also implemented EnvisionWare's Library Document Station for self-service scanning, copying and faxing, as well as Copy Payment Manager for self-service copying payments and reporting.

Turning Leaf Technologies announces support for RBdigital Magazines in Aspen Discovery

(August 15, 2019). In conjunction with Record Books, Turning Leaf Technologies has integrated RBdigital Magazines into Aspen Discovery. With this integration, all magazines purchased by a library are immediately added to the online catalog where patrons can easily find them. If a library owns copies of the physical magazine in addition to the online magazine, the two are grouped within search results.

The New Hampshire State Library has selected Auto-Graphics' SHAREit, bringing the next generation in resource sharing software to the state

(August 14, 2019). Auto-Graphics announced that its cloud-based resource sharing solution, SHAREit, has been selected by the New Hampshire State Library. The New Hampshire State Library, the oldest state library in the United States, will use SHAREit to support the New Hampshire Automated Information System (NHAIS) which includes the 234 public libraries in the state as well as academic, school, and special libraries. A-G has a strong history of serving statewide systems supported through state libraries.
