Project ReShare announcef The Alberta Library (TAL), a multi-type library consortium based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS), a multi-type consortium serving over 650 member libraries in Indiana and Michigan, as the first two consortial participants in its new Founding Consortial Partner Program. Both consortia have made substantial contributions and have joined the project's Steering Committee.

This communications software is designed for libraries to manage and monitor communications and alerts. Branch Manager Version 2.0 combines enterprise functionality with enhanced communication tools at the branch level and system wide. With this new release, users have the ability to filter and target messages to Subscribers and Groups so that Library staff can receive only the alerts that pertain to their department or branch. Weizmann Institute of Science adopts Ex Libris Esploro to manage and showcase research output and data

Ex Libris announced that Israel's Weizmann Institute of Science has selected the Ex Libris Esploro research services solution to help the institute capture research output and data from external sources, showcase the institute's research work, and comply with funders' open-access policies. The Esploro solution will replace Weizmann's institutional research repository and will be integrated with the institute's research information system.

An international initiative to develop innovative projects and technologies The Catalyst Grant offers an award of up to £25,000 or $30,000 for concepts with the potential to transform scientific and academic research. Digital Science is well known for its engagement with the research community, and the grant supports ideas at an early stage of development, without the need for a complete business or development plan.
